- Gaines was established in 1816 and contains part of the Village of Albion, the county seat. Communities in Gaines include Childs, Eagle Harbor, and Gaines.

Hell, I was the one who put that info there just recently. I have no idea who would want to delete it -- and it is correct. Tmesipt. 3.1.04.
