[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
"Like many counties in the impoverished Bootheel..."
[edit]Many? Technically, there are only three; by the broadest possible definition there are only seven, so it cannot be one of "many", can it? (This current quote appears in the "Politics" section.) 72.104.149.253 (talk) 02:22, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Missouri presidential preference primary (2008)
[edit]This section seems out of place. Why are there no sections on primaries before or since? Is this an unfinished task or a deliberate choice? It might make sense to feature only this primary if the vote totals helped illustrate the transition from Democratic to Republican dominance. However, the vote totals don't illustrate this. Instead, this transition is covered in the above section. It reads, "In 2004, George W. Bush flipped the county from blue to red, albeit narrowly... In 2008, Pemiscot County swung the most Republican of all the counties in the state, as McCain improved on Bush's vote share by fully 6.2%..." Gvros8 (talk) 20:31, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
