Relationships
[edit]This article lacks a description of many (claimed-to-be) past members of the band. Specifically, David Westlake is not linked in the article main, and his sidebar link under "Past Members" does not link back to this page. I'm not questioning the authenticity of the claim, just that it could use some clarification. Feel free to revert my proposed changes (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sneaker_Pimps&oldid=504488903 and http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sneaker_Pimps&oldid=504488509) if you feel that they are confusing or misrepresentative of my concern. Untitled
[edit]It is unclear why and how Kelli left the band. Her website, Sneaker Pimps' site and miscellaneous fan sites all offer different interpretations of this, some are very biased. Also, I couldn't find any mention of the year when the band was created. I removed "formed in 1993" because some of the biographies stated that Becoming X was released several months after the band found Kelli Dayton.. which makes it somewhere in 1996, since the album was released in 1997. Yet Dayton heard demos of 6 Underground before she sang for it, which means the song was composed earlier.. It would be great if someone could clear this up :) - Jashiin
Kelli makes it pretty clear on her site that she got sacked, no? Djbell 04:02, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Movies/Soundtracks
[edit]It would be good if we could list all the movies this song has been used in and if it's appeared on any soundtracks. KannD86 (talk) 14:51, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Format
[edit]Yo, i dont know whats going on with the format, particularly of the infobox. The picture needs to be far smaller, and there is some extraneous text at the top, though i cant identify where this is on the editable version of the article. Could someone who is better at formatting infoboxes than I am sort it out at all? I'm adding a clean-up tag until this happens... Jdcooper 18:54, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Seems it's ok now. I've removed the clean-up tag. Jogers 19:44, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ace work, it looks really good now. While we're here, do you (or anyone else) have any idea where they come from? Jdcooper 21:07, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- All Music Guide says that the band was formed in Reading, England [1]. Jogers 21:21, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Rolling Stone interviews state they are from Hartlepool, England [2]. Isamu-alva (talk) 15:14, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

POV
[edit]The 'Dayton's departure...' paragraph seems like POV to me - very much advocating the idea that Dayton leaving was a good thing. Who are these 'fans' and 'critics'? The band's commercial appeal pretty much evaporated after the vocalist switch.
Yeah, a source is definitely needed there. Greenagain 23:56, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
I get the impression that Corner wanted to be centre stage. He should have realised that with him singing there wouldn't be anyone in front of the stage to listen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.111.47.29 (talk) 00:19, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
electropop
[edit]the first paragraph immeadiately says sneaker pimps are an electropop band- and whilst they do incorperate alot of electropop into their music, they also put in alot of trip-hop in there aswell, along with various other genres. Perhaps the word "electronic" would be a more appropriate word? i think it fairly sums up their sound without specifying genre too much. --Skellyscribbles (talk) 00:55, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
SP5
[edit]What about the second unreleased album, SP5? A short audio sample from that album was used on the official Sneaker Pimps website (now offline).--Kernpanik (talk) 22:40, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
