Changing the "plot" section

I find that the "plot" section right now is severely hard to understand, especially since it follows the way the film develops the story. I've written a largely linear version of this part, you can find it in the "View history" page, that I think should be used instead. - Hairolfitri

I completely disagree. The plot summary isn't hard to understand. The film is a thriller, and the point of the structure is that at the beginning you don't know if the original Lisa is alive or dead, what the deal is with the new Lisa, etc. By making it linear you are putting the "twist" at the beginning and eliminating the suspense. I understand that the plot summary here isn't exactly supposed to recreate the film for the reader to experience, but by presenting it the other way I feel we would be misrepresenting the film and the story. The GA article for Memento, a film famous for it's unique presentation of chronology, presents the two timelines separately but still structures them to preserve the film's narrative flow and saves the reveal for the end, even though it is obviously earlier in the chronology. Other film articles like The Sixth Sense also keep twists which could be revealed earlier in the plot summary in their place as presented in the film. That said, perhaps there are some edits that could be made to the current summary that would fix what you find hard to understand about it? — TAnthony^Talk 02:46, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
