It's not an advert; the linked site is the source of the quoted phrase. It might be more appropriate to remove the link but this whole entry is more of a dictionary definition anyway. The term 'asplode' appears to be some sort of slang that is frequently used in forums, usenet, blogs, etc. -Decimal

It *is* nonsense. That's probably why the word was adopted to begin with. A search on google will reveal that 'asplode' is most often used in reference to a person's head. This usage can be traced back to the original context which was described specifically as being a "perplexing geometric attack" against a spiky-haired head. -Decimal

Sure, but (a), that's still a dictionary definition, and (b) the perplexing geometric attack doesn't make any sense to me as a reader that doesn't know anything about the subject. It reads like an in-joke, which is not what we're trying to do here. So it needs to be rewritten.--Tomheaton 17:15, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Delete: Much older than they think, this is "esplode," which is a fake Spanish accent + "explode" and dates to the early 1980's. Doesn't matter, though: this just illustrates why we shouldn't get into the business of documenting slang. At best it's obscure. At worst, it's obsolete the moment it's said.
