Although this term has a few google hits, most of them are copies of wikipedia. If this article were significantly expanded, it might be worth keeping, but currently the article consists of the same single sentence it did when it was created over two years ago (Neo-surrealism is either surrealism that those who call it neo-surrealism do not want to call "surrealism" due to the misconception that surrealism "ended" in 1945, 1966, and so forth, or an artistic movement supposedly related to surrealism, surrealism allegedly being "dead.")
This article is hardly informative, and has greatly inflated the term's apparent usage on the internet. See also VfD/Pansurrealism.

- Comment: Didn't we already vote to delete this particular one, as well as its kin? I thought we had. I vote to delete, in any case, simply because Surrealism hasn't ended. As Marcel Duchamps said in an interview in 1965, "Dada did not stop. I could do Dada right now." I.e. schools end their flourishes, but I could write a metrical romance today, even though the era of the metrical romance was 900 years ago. Having an article saying that people misuse the term is like establishing a negative: no real point. Geogre 15:02, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. To use Geogre's terms: if it is a positive (is there a school of neo-surrealism?) then it's a keep, if it's simply a negative, then it's a dicdef/neologism/whatever. func(talk) 02:56, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
