Affair
[edit]It is well known that Dr. Seuss cheated on his first wife while she was dying of cancer with their family friend and his later wife. Her suicide can likely be attributed to this affair. This should not be omitted from his page. Talk Aug 29, 2021

Yes it should be omitted, unless you can cite a reliable source (WP:RS). Wikipedia doesn’t go by what is “well known” or “likely”, but by what can be documented in a reliable source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.255.97.2 (talk) 01:47, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
I've added it back it. Looks like it was mistakenly deleted in this edit. Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[ᴛ] 09:48, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
It well known and documented. Their are numerous articles he admitted it publicly. This article is extremely bias.
- Biased. Even if it were true and well documented, this is not (or only sometimes) the National Enquirer or whatever. Seuss miss-pronounced (?): just heard on a podcast, his mom thought of Zeus.--Ralfdetlef (talk) 14:06, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- To add to this article: approximately when Geisel and Dimond began their affair. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 02:13, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

To add to article
[edit]Inforamtion to add to this article: the type of cancer Seuss had. The small cancerous lesion at the base of his tongue was a cancer that was attributed to his many years of smoking. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 03:20, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
Dr. Seuss's wife died in 2018, please add that
[edit]Dr. Seuss's wife died in 2018, please add that 2001:DF7:5280:CBB5:F0DD:363B:7577:8C90 (talk) 17:15, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- His 2d wife's death is in the Later years section. Schazjmd (talk) 17:22, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- As has been mentioned, Audrey's death is mentioned in the "Later years" section. It isn't listed in the infobox because Dr. Seuss died before her, so their marriage ended when Dr. Seuss died. — Vigilant Cosmic Penguin 🐧 (talk | contribs) 18:08, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
