[edit]MU means million units of power -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 01:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- It definitely means something, otherwise it would not have been there. Power generation and consumption in India is measured in terms of MUs. The definition of how the MU is calculated can be seen here. Thanks -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 14:53, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Rundata
[edit]Hi Adamrush. Would you mind taking a look at Rundata and checking if the latest edits by Bardcom are correct? This user is searching Wikipedia looking for instances of British Isles and replacing them with alternatives. His edits on this occasion may be valid, but a number of his changes are incorrect or questionable. I tried to check this one but got bogged down in the Swedish websites. However, in reading about the subject I note that there are stones located in the Isle of Man, and if the code BR does relate solely to Great Britain then these would be excluded. Thanks CarterBar (talk) 19:19, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Adamrush, I've changed the text to read "British Islands" as being the correct reference to all of the area covered by [BR]. The editor CarterBar is being very disingenuous in his description by stating that I am "replacing with alternatives" as if there are not good reasons for these changes. The term "British Isles" is used incorrectly in a great number of article (this being one), and many editors are not aware of how to use the term correctly. The code [BR] in this instance cannot refer to "British Isles" as there is a seperate code [IR] used for Ireland. In addition, there are ASCII files and spreadsheets available to download that contain all of the data, and from this it is clear that there is a distinction made between the two. --Bardcom (talk) 20:35, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks. Another editor has advised me about the section headings. I've stopped making that error. Thank you anyway for your advice. I had edited the Hortence de Beauharnais article before I received the message.jeanne (talk) 08:59, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Råshön wind farm

I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Råshön wind farm. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of China Uncensored
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on China Uncensored requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Pyrusca (talk) 22:56, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Cero en conducta moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Cero en conducta, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Abbi Jacobson edit
[edit]I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Abbi Jacobson. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published source. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:04, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Adamrush! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Kathleen's bike (talk) 23:45, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Diane Ladd. Thank you. Kathleen's bike (talk) 23:45, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
