[edit]Are you sure about this? Any sources? Dog style should be a Fujian style (South China), and I doubt that they have dog-like crawling stances.

Yes, you have to know how to fight from the ground. please see the source links. Masssiveego 07:03, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- The source links do not specify a stance that requires both hands and feet to be on the ground, and none of the images shows such a stance. This information requires a reliable verifiable source. -- Medains 09:21, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I have removed the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYxI-0l56-E Gao Shi Quan (Dog Style Boxing) video on YouTube
According to the sources stated (FuJian Shaolin Dog Boxing by Chen Zhi Fan and Shaolin Dog Style Boxing Manual by Ding Xiao Se), this performance does not appear to be dog boxing at all. As is stated in comments to video, this appears to be a combination of Toad Boxing and breakdancing.
In agreement with Medains 09:21, 12 October 2006, the vast majority of stances in the system do not appear to require that you be facing down with your hands and feet (or knees) as the foundation. In fact, the majority appear to have the practitioner on his/her back. Example at http://www.plumpub.com/images/Mini/chinbkmini/bk_tc515.jpg.
