Who is the main editor for June 20?
[edit]I'd like to ask them a question regarding one of them hidden comments within the page itself. BronzeWarrior 10:43, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- We're all editors. However, since you mention in-line comments, I've been slowly working my way through the date articles and standardizing the comments on this:
Do not add people without Wikipedia articles to this list Do not trust “this year in history” websites for accurate date information Do not link multiple occurrences of the same year, just link the first occurrence. Rklawton 18:20, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
First Day of Northern Summer
[edit]The article's current version states that meteorological summer (in N.Hemisphere) begins on the date. Two things about this should be changed. Firstly, astronomical summer can begin on this date. Meteorological summer consists of the period between June 1-August 31 in the Northern Hemisphere. Also, I believe the solstice more commonly falls on the 21st, this article should take note of that. 99.107.199.30 (talk) 02:25, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
Moscow-Washington Hotline
[edit]According to this page: "The so-called "red telephone" link is established between the Soviet Union and the United States following the Cuban Missile Crisis." Looking around, it seems that August 30th is the date celebrated as the hotline's anniversary since that's the day it opened, and only the Memorandum of Understanding stating the intention to make it was signed on June 20th[1]. I think the line should be tweaked to indicate only the memo was today, something like "An agreement is signed leading to the "red telephone" between the Soviet Union and the United States following the Cuban Missile Crisis."170.178.234.233 (talk) 14:16, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
