She wasn´t a Swiss actress and was born in Switzerland by chance: Her family were on their way from Germany to France, when the mother gave birth to Rachel in a country inn. Later on they moved to Lyon.Greetings from Germany--84.61.117.75 10:55, 17 January 2006 (UTC)coolgretchen

Courtesan?
[edit]Was she truly a courtesan, a prostitute? Did she charge money for sex, or did she simply have lovers? She has this category. This should be clarified. --85.226.44.74 (talk) 15:42, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Nothing in the article support that she was a prostitute. It does not matter how many relationships or lovers, longterm lovers or short-term lovers she had; the definition to be a prostitute, is to have sex in exhange for money. --85.226.44.19 (talk) 13:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Rachel (actress) → Rachel Félix – Current title is as insufficient as calling Barack Obama Barack (president). The French Wikipedia calls her Rachel Félix.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 21:44, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- Comment. What happens on the French Wikipedia, or any other Wikipedia in another language, should be irrelevant. Per the naming convention policies here on the English Wikipedia, the question is: what is the most common name used by most reliable sources in the English language? Is it "Rachel Félix"? Or is she most commonly known in English-language-reliable sources as a mononymous person like Madonna or Prince? The example of Barack Obama should also be irrelevant (see also WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, as there seems to be a lot of current international reliable sources that always refer to him primarily as "Barack Obama"). - Support the article says "Mademoiselle Rachel", not "Rachel", so "Rachel Felix" works much better. -- 76.65.128.112 (talk) 05:06, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support. Barring a compelling reason to keep her at mononym status... Red Slash 09:13, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support. A mononym has to be earned. bd2412 T 14:39, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
