Welcome to Wikipedia - fonzy

Why not string the diving articles into one longer article, say Scuba diving, and convert the short articles in redirects to that? Format is #redirect [[target article]]. jimfbleak 18:40, 7 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Hello Sirscuba, welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. You can learn more on the how to edit page. The naming conventions and manual of style pages are also useful. Feel free to experiment at the Wikipedia:Sandbox. If you have any questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. -- Schnee 18:42, 7 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Hi Sirscuba, good work with the Scuba diving article -- Ams80 23:22, 21 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Scuba pictures

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Scuba-fins1.JPG and Image:Scuba-flag1.JPG. Did you take them yourself? I notice they currently don't have image copyright tags. Could you add these to let us know the copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) Thanks so much, Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 23:00, Oct 5, 2004 (UTC)

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk, automation script)]] 05:48, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
