Name is redundant, no?--Wasabe3543 16:18, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Why is it called the penis worm? Does it inhabit penises? Does it resemble a penis? Is it noted for it's penis? Monsday 06:54, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Resembles a human penis. User:CarlFink

Number of Genera
[edit]This article says "There are three genera...", but the Classification section shows many genera. Which is correct? --121.112.124.72 (talk) 12:44, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Propably refers to class level taxons: Priapulimorpha, Halicryptomorpha and Seticoronaria. --92.118.191.48 (talk) 02:08, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
name
[edit]It's named after the appearance. I just thought scientists would be more ...eh.... scientific than to say, "It looks like a penis! Let's call it a penis!"--Loodog (talk) 21:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Priapos was a mythological personality characterized by his permanent erection. Priapulida would translate to "dimunitive permanently erected man" or even worse "very small dick"... --92.118.191.48 (talk) 02:04, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
